Lifting the top and remove everyting inside, such as the 3-pole motor, direction relay, lamp connectors and pantograph switch.
Grind the relay fixture on the chassie with a Dremel, to make space for the loudspeaker ESU type 50321, with aucustic chamber that can be varied in size. Bare metal is paintet with black Paint RAL 9005.
Installation of the 5-pole motor with Märklin kit 60944 and pantograph switch is re-installed as a fixture for the sound decoder ESU Lok Sound 5, Art no 58410. All 23 digital functions specified in the Models folder.
All connections soldered for programming and soundtest via ESU Lok Programmer 53451. Decoder fixed on to Panto Switch, with double sided tape. The lamp connectors was reinstalled by misstake. They were not possible to use, as the bulbs had to be changed to a type with soldering legs, Märklin art. no 600080, to be able to use separate non chassie "earth", and have to be installed from the outside, when the cover of the chassie already is mounted. The bulbs was covered with shrink tube, before the fitting in to the holder.
Light bulbs connected via separat cables and tested ok.
Before putting the top back on to the chassie, the two green Drozzels supplyed in the motor kit, has to be installed on to the motor connections. This is done, after checking that the direction of travel, corresponds the headlights. The ceramic disc capacitor on the motor shield is also remowed.
Everything works as expected, and the the headlights are working in the old original style, with bulbs instead of LED:s. Here shown connected at the computer test bench.
